Hey folks! I wanted a share a new musical project “1993 IN THE SUNSHINE FOREVER”, a double album consisting of all the music I made for the film of the same name + additional songs I made during the recording sessions.

  A bit about the project: I made all these songs during several feverish sessions in Dec 2021 & Jan 2022. The music is a collection of entirely reversed, slowed and disfigured loops of 90’s songs rendered unrecognizable, fragmented and rearranged to form new melodic compositions, a lil’ technique I’m gonna call “versed + verbed” for now. I wanted to make something that felt like trying to remember childhood, which for me meant trying to marry pop structures with experimentation. Psychedelic nostalgia refracted through subliminal ghosts. Glossolalic reinterpretations of forgotten daydreams. Insert something here about the inherent unreliability of memory. Wearing a beloved shirt inside out. RIYL: DJ Screw, The Caretaker, Clams Casino, The Disintegration Loops, Chuck Person’s Eccojams, Selected Ambient Works Vol. 2, etc. I quite like it and I recommend a listen if you feel like getting lost in a little ambient daze - vibe on, players!
